公式ブログ Windows 7 Team Blog にて Windows 7 の発売日が明らかになりました。
まだ発売日が決まっただけで、価格やアップグレードに関するオプション等は、追って発表するそうです。

開発作業自体は、Windows 7 の Server 版 “Windows Server 2008R2” も含め、7月後半には終わり、RTM（Release To Manufacturing：製造段階）へ移行するそうですが、Windows 史上、最もトラブルと無縁だったとか。。
